Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine has been part of Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years.  While Chinese Herbal Medicine is used extensively in China in lieu of conventional drugs, it is more often used in this country in cases where we do not have a suitable drug for the horses’ condition or where drug costs may be prohibitive. 

Some of the problems where Dr Boldt has utilized Chinese Herbal Medicine are:
